Anyway, I tried it out, I would love to share it with you today!! (I rarely invent my own projects, I borrow good ideas from other people and try to pass them along whenever I get a chance to try them out myself!)
One of my goals this year was to make my studio a place that I actually want to spend time, instead of just a black hole of unorganized crafts. I took a class, Style School and I got some great ideas for creating an inspiration wall using clipboards. I love what I created in the class, but my wall really needed something more. As soon as I saw the idea for the corkboard display, I knew it was perfect for my space and I already had the supplies on hand!
Supplies:
Yardstick
recycled wine corks (I recently saw a package of corks at target for about $5, you could just buy some if you don't have the corks already)
a hot glue gun
All you do is glue the corks to the yardstick and hang it up. I used corsage pins to tack up inspirational pictures, photos, vintage bridge cards and other pretty memorabilia. It is so easy to switch things around and add additional pretties!
My inspiration wall.
My studio space.
Thanks for reading, I would love to see if you decide to try this yourself!
